The victim of a violent assault at an Orange County bar has retained the Law Offices of Paul W. Ralph to represent him in his case against the Anaheim bar owner.

The incident happened on February 25, 2012, outside of a bar on Katella Avenue in the City of Anaheim. The victim had traveled to the cocktail lounge with a number of friends to enjoy an evening of playing pool and drinking. At one point, the victim (a 38-year-old male) was apparently accosted in a restroom by two men, one of whom struck him in the face while security stood by. Later, the victim was just outside of the bar when another group of men (perhaps associated with the first two attackers) rushed him, punched him and then kicked him on the ground. All of this reportedly transpired while a number of bar security guards/bouncers were present but did little to nothing to prevent or stop the violence. A companion of the victim tried to intervene and was also attacked. The Orange County Sheriff's Department was finally notified, and they are actively investigating the assault.

As a result of the violent attack, the victim sustained very serious injuries to his face and eyes, including an orbital fracture. He was taken to West Anaheim Medical Center for emergency room treatment.
