4/18/2012 Firm Files Suit In Death of Lap Band Patient
The firm has filed suit after a 38-year-old woman died last April as a result of a lap band procedure in August of 2010. According to the Orange County Coroner's office, the patient's stomach had been perforated by the band.

A violent assault on February 25, 2012, at an Anaheim bar resulted in severe eye and facial injuries to a 38-year-old victim who has now retained the firm to represent him.

In January, all three victims of an Anaheim roll-over accident retained the Law Offices of Paul W. Ralph. One of the three victims was hospitalized at Western Medical Center for emergency surgery, and all three are continuing to receive treatment for their injuries.

On July 1st, the Law Offices of Paul W. Ralph filed suit against Hsiu-Ying Lisa Tseng, D.O., who is suspected of unlawfully prescribing prescription narcotics to her patients.

Construction Accidents

Like the owner or occupier of property, those responsible for the safety of a construction site must conduct themselves in a reasonable manner to ensure their work areas are safe. These areas often present a great hazard to pedestrians and ConstructV.jpgsometimes those operating motor vehicles. Sloppy construction practices and failure to follow OSHA standards can result in liability for those responsible for construction on private and public property.

In these types of cases there may well be liability for a failure to protect people coming on to the construction site from a dangerous condition. For example, where a construction company leaves an open trench along the side of a roadway (without warning or barriers), a driver whose vehicle falls into the trench and is injured may be able to recover. The same would be true where a trench or other dangerous condition attracts a child and that results in harm.
